My name is Wilma, and creativity runs like a common thread through my life. About 44 years ago, I learned the basics of crochet and knitting from my grandmother. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. Over the years, I've dabbled in all kinds of creative pursuits. Besides crochet and knitting, I made jewelry, designed teddy bears, sewed clothing, worked on sculpting, made silicone molds for soap casting, and designed cards. The enjoyment of creating something with my own hands has always stayed with me.
Many people might still know me from Hobby Uniek, my former website where I shared my creative projects. Although the website no longer exists, I've always kept the name. Hobby Uniek stands for what I love to do: creating unique designs with their own character and a personal touch. Designing itself is what gives me the most joy. I love working out ideas into something of my own and inspiring others with it. Whether it's crochet, knitting, or another creative challenge, I always enjoy looking for new ways to create something special. I'm happy to share a number of my designs on this website.
